Standard Bidding Documents
With the help of external consultants, National Procurement and Tender Administration (NPTA) has finalized standard bidding contract and other procurement documents, as per attached list as mandated in the Procurement Regulations. These documents fully comply with the requirements of the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) e.g. IDB, IDA, CDB etc. and are based on the latest standard documents issued by them to be used for contracts funded by the respective MDBs.
The National Competitive Bidding Documents (NCB) compiled for use in GoG funded and MDB funded national procurement, comply with all requirements of the Guyana Public Procurement Act and the Regulations.
These documents are mandated for use with effect from June 1, 2006. In case of any difficulty in following these instructions, or if you require clarification please contact the NPTA.
